Shetlands 2012 - Sorry now FULL

We have booked the M V Valkyrie ready for our annual trip to the world famous Shetlands. August the 12th to the 17th, 2012.

For 2012, we have decided to head back to the Shetlands, After the huge success of our last trip, and the fact that the diving is superb with unbelievable viz we are going back. Plus this is one of the worlds best diving destinations.  We have yet again decided to go fully catered as this makes for a far more pleasurable and relaxed holiday. We have organized all of the trip and the diving will be what we call Shetlands Recreational, ie, the max depth for the diving will be 45mtrs.
Of course there may be chance for some exploration diving , like this year where we discovered and dived a new wreck, the first to see her in 104 years. 

The boat as 6 full size twin rooms all with independent heating and 240 volt power plus a hand basin. It also boasts a diver lift (very handy). The boat was fully refurbished this year and is superb.

It is suitable for divers with a minimum of advanced open water, although ideally qualified in deep and nitrox would be a bonus, plus a minimum of 50 dives.

We will be travelling up on the Saturday of the 11th and then catching the overnight ferry from Aberdeen to Lerwick in the Shelands, before joining the Mv Valkyrie for the week in the early morning of the 12th.

We then leave the boat on the Friday evening of the 17th again catching the overnight ferry back to Aberdeen, then making our way back home on the 18th.

The cost of this trip is between £650 and £720.00pp depending upon numbers,  and includes accommodation on the boat which is fully catered ( you will not be hungry), all diving and air, there is a charge for Nitrox & Trimix.

There is additional costs ie, the ferry crossing from the UK to Shetlands and back, plus a share of fuel, money for transport there and back, plus spending money.

Please note all deposits and monies paid are non refundable, if due to unforeseen circumstances you have to pull out of this trip unless we can fill your space, you are liable for the remainder for the full cost of your place. So we advice you to take out some kind of holiday insurance to cover this. This year we require a deposit of £120.00pp and the remainder will be paid by instalments of £60.00 which must reach us by the last day of each month.
